Issued by the publisher in both maroon and blue bindings. Boards have bevelled edges. Half-title: Haslewood Books. Of a limited edition of 670 copies, this is number 43, one of 75 printed on Millbourn handmade paper. The frontispiece is a reproduction of a drawing from 1781 by John Downman of Pierce Joseph Taylor. Edited by Violet M. Macdonald. Correspondence of Elizabeth Pierce, heiress of Yendacott, parish of Shobrooke, who in 1750 became engaged to Thomas Taylor, esq., of Denbury. A charming collection of 18th-century English family correspondence. In Very Good Condition: ends of spine and corners rubbed; spine slightly sunned; pages are clean and bright.
