A Favorite Sonata for the Piano Forte, with an Accompt. for the Violin; composed by W.A. Mozart

Philadelphia: G.E. Blake, 1810. 15, [1] p.: music for piano; 32 cm. Disbound from a larger volume. Music for piano only. At foot of title page is a 3.5 x 4.5 cm. label with engraving of a fortepiano, violin, and harp: "Sold at P. Hardt's Book & Music Store, York, Pa." No date of publication. George E. Blake (1775-1871) was a music publisher in Philadelphia from 1803 to 1860 or later, much of that time at the address given here, 13 S. 5th St. A monthly literary magazine, The Village Museum, was published by P. Hardt in York, Pa., from 1810 to 1814. This was probably the same Peter Hardt who was active as a printer in York from 1815 to 1819, and who published the York Recorder from 1818 to 1821. This was probably published between 1810 and 1819, most likely around 1810. Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: disbound; lightly soiled. Very Good. Item #004119
