Sheppard in an attractive hand, dated Christmas 1933. The author, Howard R. Garis, was best known as the author of the Uncle Wiggly series, although he also contributed under other names to a number of the series published by the Stratemeyer publishing syndicate. In Very Good Condition: edges somewhat rubbed; corners rubbed; front hinge weakening. Pages are clean and tight. A scarce book by a popular children's series book author. Very Good. Item #000178
