Same former owner also signed in red pencil the following page and noted on the title page that this was originally published as part of Trois Portraits: Ibsen, Pascal, Dostoyevskey (1912) [actually Trois Hommes: Pascal, Ibsen, Dostoïevski (1912)]. Entirely in German. A study of the Russian author Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky by the French poet and critic André Suarès (Félix-André-Yves Scantrel, 1868-1948). In Very Good- Condition: cloth fraying at ends of spine; boards are rubbed; inscriptions as noted above; some ink underlining in the first half of the book; otherwise clean and tight. Very Good.
