At various times this weekly publication was also called Munsey's Magazine, Argosy All-Story Weekly, and Munsey's Weekly. This issue contains: "Among the Missing" [Chapters 1-4] by Oliver Optic -- "The Erie Train Boy" [chapters 8-10] by Horatio Alger, Jr. -- "The Young Actor; or, The Solution of a Mystery" [chapters 35-37] by Gayle Winterton -- "An Unprovoked Mutiny" [chapters 26-28] by James Otis -- "Silas Snobden's Office Boy" [chapters 23-25] by Arthur Lee Putnam [Horatio Alger, Jr.] -- "The Conquest of the Moon" [chapters 29-31] by Andre Laurie [Paschal Grousset] -- and "The Chain Problem" [a puzzle] by George Folsom. It also includes brief notes about various scientific events such as Apostolov's developments in submarine propulsion, and the use of a transfusion to save a gas victim's life. In Good Condition: old repairs of spine and wrappers consisting of white paper along spine with three staples and small sections of tape on inside of both wrappers; significant chipping along fore-edge of front wrapper; top edge of back wrapper slightly chipped; 2 x 1/2 cm. chip out of fore-edge of back wrapper; no loss of printing in any case; first page of text slightly stained; upper corner lightly creased throughout; small stain in fore-edge margin of a few pages; otherwise pages are clean and tight.
