The author, Ellen Pickering (1801/2-1843), was a successful English novelist. Disbound; otherwise in Good Condition: foxing throughout; slight loss at upper corner of first two leaves of text, without loss of text; chipping at fore-edge of pp. 43-44, not touching text.
