The 60th anniversary of the chartering of the Pierpont Morgan Library corresponded with the 30th anniversaries of the appointments of two of the library's curators. In honor of those events, Dr. John H. Plummer (Curator of Mediaeval and Renaissance Manuscripts) and Herbert Cahoon (Curator of Autograph Manuscripts) each selected 30 manuscripts for the exhibition.
