Top page edges gilt. Gilt- and blue-marbled endpapers. In Very Good Condition: as is usual with green calf, the spine is faded to brown; front board has been sensitively reattached by a conservator; older archival repair to gutter between half title and frontispiece; occasional minimal foxing along fore-edges; clean and tight.
