Front wrapper has title, imprint, and illustration of four girls gathered around flowers. Inside front and back wrapper contains decorative border and illustration, each signed with Alexander Anderson's AA. Back wrapper has advertisement for "Babcock's Moral, Instructive, and Entertaining Toy Books." Title page has decorative border and title vignette. Each page printed within decorative border, with illustration on left-hand page and text on right. Former owner stitched on an additional wrapper of decorative paper over a tissue guard. Inscriptions inside front wrapper on lower title page indicating that Charles Davis, of Lincoln, Vt., bought this in 1845.
