The poems contained here had won prizes from various literary magazines from 1913 to 1929. Includes General William Booth Enters into Heaven by Nicholas Vachel Lindsay, as well as poems by T.S. Eliot, Carl Sandburg, Robert Frost, H.D., Elinor Wylie, E.E. Cummings, Wallace Stevens, William Carlos Williams, Langston Hughes, and Babette Deutsch, among others.
