[2], 40 p., folded frontispiece and 39 additional leaves of lithographed plates (lacking final plate, Botanic Garden); 30 cm. Half contemporary red morocco with five spine compartments between double raised bands. Gilt-tooled title in second compartment. Marbled paper over boards. Dark grey endpapers.
Lithographed title page with title vignette. No date of publication. Originally issued in parts during 1827(?) and 1828, but this volume was issued as a complete volume around 1840, with H. Harris added to the imprint on the lithographed title-page. This is probably Henry Harris (fl. 1839-1846). List of plates follows title page. Each plate faces explanatory text, general one page but occasionally more or less. In Good Condition: lacking final plate; rubbed; lacking 3 cm. at head of spine and 1 cm. at tail; some leather gone from each corner; chipping on fore-edges of some leaves, with no impact on printing or plates; occasional foxing on pages of text; plates are clean and bright.
