Lessons 1-10 were copyrighted in July 1903. Instruction in making ink drawings on silver prints on salted paper and then bleaching away the silver for commercial illustration. Contains samples of different styles of illustration, including a drawing of Theodore Roosevelt by McKee Barclay. In Good Condition: 3.5-cm. tear from upper edge of front wrapper with archival repair and no loss; chipping along lower edge of front wrapper; lightly creased; ink in margins of 2 pages; otherwise clean and tight.
