Trenton, N.J. J.L. Weber, 1912. 1 sheet (26 x 22 cm.) with letterhead of J.L. Weber, including photograph of Weber's building with horses and cars in front of it. The bill, dated Sept. 14, 1912, is for a whip, horse blankets, Irish collars, and other horse-related supplies purchased by the estate of Hugh Armstrong from J.L. Weber, dealer in horses, carriages, wagons and harness, robes and blankets. Hugh Armstrong (1833-1901), manufactured packing boxes and, at the time of his death in 1901, employed 17 people. The business continued after his death, apparently, as indicated by the supplies purchased from J.L. Weber from 1907 to 1910 and delineated on this bill. In Very Good- Condition: 4 horizontial folds; tears of 2 cm. or less at upper edge and separations along top fold, with one old repair and archival repairs, on the back; minor loss along fold in the illustration.
