Although the Text Book Company copyrighted this title in 1883, this undated edition by Taintor Brothers & Co., at 18 and 20 Astor Place, New York, could not have been produced before 1888, when Taintor began publishing at that address under that form of their business name. In Good+ Condition: cloth is rubbed through along upper back joint; corners are heavily rubbed; minor loss of paper over boards along edges; lacking front free endpaper; old repair of both hinges; title page and pp. 10-11 are soiled; otherwise pages are clean and tight.
