Hathaway on front fixed endpaper and two pages. Small red and white label in upper left-hand corner of front fixed endpaper. Contains 36 songs, some melodies with piano accompaniment and others in four parts; includes one song by Jason Noble Pierce and many by John Prindle Scott. Anna Louise Strong (1885-1970), who went on to be a successful journalist and author, wrote the lyrics to three songs: Fair Oberlin, The Girl Who Cutteth, and I Don't Want to be 'n Alumna. In Very Good Condition: cover rubbed and lightly soiled; title page archivally repaired along gutter; stain on title page near gutter; otherwise clean and tight. Very Good. Item #003569
