Frank Altschul (1887-1981) founded the Overbrook Press, which produced more than 150 limited edition books, pamphlets, and broadsides between 1934 and 1969. This lecture on Toussaint L'Ouverture (1743-1803) and Haiti was first delivered in 1861 by American abolitionist Wendell Phillips (1811-1884).
