This is one of a limited edition of 1,000 copies printed at Hillacre House for the United Workers of Greenwich -- Eastern Branch. BAL, 18948. A charming story about a tree spirit,originally dictated as a gift for the author's friend, Florence Gotthold in 1901. She gave the right of publication to the Eastern Branch of the United Workers of Greenwich, Conn., the proceeds to fund the construction of a children's clubhouse and playground. In Good Condition: spine is sunned; lacking lower half of paper over spine; cover is lightly soiled; pages are clean and bright. Good. Item #003836
