"Alfred Gessler" in pencil at upper edge of first page. Front wrapper has portrait of Pietro Mascagni; inside of front wrapper has photograph of Mascagni at the piano. Inside back wrapper has photograph of Marie Gutheil-Schoder as Santuzza at the Vienna opera house. Cavalleria Rusticana premiered in 1890 at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome. In Good- Condition: both wrappers and last leaf are detached but present; very faint dampstain along lower edges; lightly browning and slightly brittle; otherwise clean and complete. Good -.
