Embossed publisher's emblem on back cover; endpapers have a continous pattern of the publisher's emblem. "Vocabularios Garnier" -- at head of front cover and title page of Portuguese-German section. "Garnier Frères" -- on front cover. "Garnier'sche Wörterbücher" -- at head of title page of German-Portuguese section. Title page for German-Portuguese section has misprints: Umganssprache for Umgangssprache, and Taschenwörterluch for Taschenwörterbuch. Publisher's advertisements on yellow card between the two sections. No date of publication. Hippolyte Garnier ran the Brazillian branch from 1893 to 1911. 1902 is the year assigned in library records and is consistent with the publisher's history. In Very Good- Condition: cloth is slightly rubbed; spine ends starting to fray; 1 leaf in Portuguese-German section is detached but present; pages are slightly browning; otherwise, clean and tight.
