Contains lyrics to 57 songs, without music. These include many popular songs of the time, some written for the Singer's Library, such as De Rhemish Rifle Pand written and sung by Harry S. Sargent, as well as some older songs. Final 3 pages, including back wrapper, lists contents of nos. 1-26 of Beadle's Half-Dime Singer's Library, and titles of nos. 1-69 of Beadle's Half-Dime Library. Beadle's Half-Dime Singer's Library appeared approximately weekly from 18 May 1878 and 29 March 1879, ending with No. 43. In later reprints the illustration was left uncolored. Scarce. In Good+ Condition: first leaf partially detached; faint dampstaining on first and last leaves; corner at head of gutter trimmed without loss of text; clean and bright. Good +. Item #004354
