Six spine compartments between gilt rules; red leather label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title: "Helfenstein's Sermons." Inscription on front fixed endpaper: "H.G. Moser's Book 1855." Inscription on blank leaf following front endpapers: "H.G. Moser Mechanicsburg Cumberland Co. Pa." dated 1872. Henry G. Moser (1813-1884) owned the Liberty Forge, was elected to the state legislature in 1853, and was an associate judge of Cumberland County. In Fair Condition: front board is almost completely detached; lacking leather at spine ends and upper front joint; dampstain on first few leaves, including title page; light foxing. Fair.
