Comtemporary full calf with five spine compartments between gilt rules; black leather label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title: Baxter's Ruhe der Heiligen. A translation of the author's The Saints Everlasting Rest. Former owner's inscription on front fixed endpaper, dated 1858. In Very Good- Condition: leather is rubbed with several small scrapes; front joint just starting at head; old dampstain in upper corner of most pages; some pages are browning; clean and tight.
