The company sold candies, and cough drops. He sold the company in 1893. Chromolithographed by Gies & Co., Buffalo, N.Y. This is the original card, not a reproduction, with the popular illustration of the man in snowshoes striding uphill, wearing red tights and grey shorts with a blue-and-red-striped white sweather or jacket and blue hat with a red tassel.
