Doylestown, Pa. Doylestown National Bank, 1886. 6 checks drawn on the Doylestown National Bank by John Pursel, dated Dec. 15, 1886; Jan. 30, Feb. 7, March 5, and Dec. 27 1887; and Feb. 1 1888. The 1886 and 1887 checks were produced by Wm. F. Murphey's Sons Stationers, Philadelphia. The 1888 check was produced by Paschall Bros., printers. John Pursel (1844-1926) was a farmer in Mechanicsville, Pa. The Doylestown National Bank was established in 1832 as the Doylestown National Bank and Trust Company. Beginning in 1970 it acquired and merged with various other banks. In Very Good Condition: clean and intact aside from the various endorsements, stamps, and perforations resulting from having been cashed. Very Good. Item #004613
