The program is from the week of April 28, 1902, for the last week of the Philadelphia tryout of The Wild Rose, a musical comedy in two acts written by Harry B. Smith and George V. Hobart with music by Ludwig Englander. It opened on Broadway on May 5, 1902. The cast included Junie McCree, David Lythgoe, Irene Bentley, Marie Cahill, Marguerite Clark, and Carrie E. Perkins. Numerous advertisements, including one for the Blasius piano with a photo of Lillian Russell. In Good+ Condition: brown stain on front wrapper (possibly singed?); one vertical crease throughout; light brown shadow on 2 pages; otherwise, clean and solid. Good +. Item #004632
