Red cloth with gilt-stamped spine and cover titles; black decoration on spine and front board continued in blind on back board. Top page edges gilt. Light grey endpapers. Armorial bookplate on front fixed endpaper for Daulton with motto: "Inter crusus triumphans in cruce." First American edition; very scarce. In Good Condition: spine slightly darkened; edges lightly rubbed; hinges are split; chipping to edges of free endpapers; pages and plates are clean and bright. Good. Item #004737
