Contains 15 full-page and 2 half-page illustrations from photographs of scenes and paintings. Illustrations are of scenes in Rome and Venice, as well as one of France. This publication was part of a less well-known photographic series by H.S. Smith and C.R. Graham, who also produced The Magic City, a photographic series containing views of the Columbian Exposition in 1894. Very scarce. In Very Good- Condition: wrapper is soiled; staples are rusting; closed 1-cm. tear from fore-edge of front wrapper; closed 3-cm. tear from edge of one leaf; pages are clean and tight. Very Good -.
