This is a salesman's sample or publisher's dummy. It contains the title page and table of contents, along with samples of the photographic illustrations of children posing in costumes, in-text line drawings, poetry for recitations, and songs with music. Final 8 pages are lined pages for information on subscribers. The first page contains four names in pencil with subscription and dates. The author Maude M. jackson, was the originator and director of entertainments in the public schools of Chicago.
