Haskell (1891-1979) that were produced by the Girard College Print Shop in 1848, the year of the school's centennial. Here the author discusses the establishment of the school in the context of public education in the United States in the 1830s. Haskell taught at Girard College from the 1930s to his retirement in the 1960s. Scarce.
