"Ch Ravel" written above title; "95" written next to title, in which one word is underlined. Disbound from a collection of pamphlets owned by French homeopath Dr. Charles Ravel (1822-1887). The author, Étienne Pariset (1770-1847), was a French physician who founded the Société Protectrice des Animaux and was a doctor at the Salpêtrière Hospital, where he was the physician for the insane. Philippe Pinel (1745-1826) was a French physician who developed more humane techniques for the care of psychiatric patients.
