1900. Photograph is 12 x 18 cm., mounted on black card 18 x 23 cm. No date. Clothing appears to be circa 1900. Man has a moustache and is wearing a three-piece suit with a standup collar on the shirt. Girl and woman are sitting side-saddle and wearing long-sleeved dresses. The Broadmoor Seven Falls are in South Cheyenne Cañon, near Colorado Springs, Colorado. It has been a privately owned tourist attraction since it opened in the early 1880s. By the late 1890s there was a burro stand where tourists, such as this family, could rent burros to climb the trails in what has been called the "Grandest Mile of Scenery" in Colorado. In Good Condition: photograph is slightly faded; edges are rubbed; 2 small indentations on the face of the girl; loss from one corner of the card mount. Good. Item #005899
