Former owner's inscription on front fixed endpaper dated 1900. Georgiana Liddell Bloomfield (1822-1905) married Sir John Arthur Douglas 2nd Baron Bloomfield in 1845. She accompanied her husband on diplomatic missions to St. Petersburg, Berlin, and Vienna. This volume covers the period from June 1851 to their departure from Vienna in 1871.
