The Bahamas Scholarship Fund was incorporated in New York in 1963 to provide scholarships to students from the Bahamas to study in the United States. The first recipient was Edwood L. Donaldson, who was attending Meharry Medical College in Nashville. He later returned to practice medicine in the Bahamas and served in the legislature. In 1966, the directors of the fund were Richard E. Webb, Bernice Ferguson, Thomas Peterson, the Rev. Bruce P. Williamson, and Eliud John Deleveaux. The 1966 fundraising dance was held at the Renaissance Ballroom with music by the Rudy Williams Orchestra. In Very Good Condition: cover is lightly soiled; otherwise, clean and bright. Very Good.
