A humorous poem by Irish poet Thomas Moore (1779-1852) recounting an English family's experiences in Paris, first published in 1818. Former owner Frances Richards Vigors (1788-1877) married Casimir Pierre Adrien d'Herisson (1791-1846) in 1829.
