1834. 4 printed enlistment slips for the Ulster Artillery, Sugerties, Ulster County, N.Y. The smaller one has an engraved eagle holding arrows and a shield in the upper left corner and is filled out by Captain C. Hoyt for the enlistment of William W. Conyes on June 4, 1834. The larger filled-in one had an engraved eagle in the center, standing on a shield and looking to the right; it was filled out by Captain Conyes for the enlistment of Peter B. Ransom on June 13, 1840. The other two have an engraved eagle in the center holding arrows and a shield and looking to the left; they have not been used. In Very Good+ Condition: lightly soiled; closed 1-cm. tear from upper edge of one of the blank slips. Very Good +. Item #006818
