Six spine compartments between double gilt rules; gilt-tooled title in second compartment: "Taylor's Works." All page edges speckled red. Green endpapers. No date of publication. The imprint states "J. Moyes, Greville Street, London." James Moyes was located on Greville St. from 1807 or earlier until a fire in 1824 forced him to relocate to Bouverie St. From a scarce edition of the works of the 17th-century English cleric known as the Shakespeare of Divines. In Very Good- Condition: spine is sunned, with some loss of gilt; minor loss at ends of spine; boards are rubbed; back joint starting at lower edge; pages are clean and tight. Very Good -.
