Includes the title page and table of contents for vol. 35 June-Nov. 1867, but starts with Oct. 1856 (vol. 13, no. 77), which includes chapters 33-36 of Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit; followed by Sept. 1861 (vol. 23, no. 136), which includes chapters 17-20 of Orley Farm by Anthony Trollope, and chapters 17-18 of The Adventures of Philip by William Thackeray; then Nov. 1867, which includes Personal Recollections of the War by a Virginian (Ninth Paper) by David H. Strother (1816-1888), and Poe at West Point by Thomas W. Gibson. Most notably, the Sept. 1861 issue, in the Monthly Record of Current Events, contains information on the beginning of the Civil War, including the First Battle of Bull Run with a map.
