"Surplus $190,000" has been crossed out in red; stamped below in red: "Surplus $206,000." Dated April 24, 1884, and addressed to A. E. Patton, cashier of the First National Bank of Curwensville, Pa. In 1893 Alexander Ennis Patton (1852-1904) was named the president of the newly formed First National Bank in Patton, Pa. He was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 1900. In 1898, Adolph Groetzinger, president of the German National Bank of Pittsburgh, declared bankruptcy and resigned. In Near Fine Condition: lightly creased; clean and bright. Near Fine. Item #006968
