Early 19th-century full calf with four compartments between raised bands; blind-tooled decoration on spine. All page edges yellow. Rebound, presumably in the early 19th century, using some leaves from an 1807 almanac and other scrap paper at the front and back. Bound with the Old Testament normally found with this New Testament (The Holy Bible with the same imprint), which lacks everything before the leaf signed "C2" in Exodus. And bound with the very scarce The Psalms of David in Meeter (Edinburgh: Evan Tyler, 1698), lacking everything after p. 42 (in Psalm 92). Bookplate of the Washington County Historical Society at the back. Undated ownership scribbles by Thomas Biggar, James Biggar, and Johanna Biggar. In Good Condition: leather is rubbed; lacking clasps; New Testament is complete. Good. Item #007038
