A municipal bond issued by Vienna in 1922 to "alleviate the scarcity of lodgings" in the city, resulting from World War One. Text is in German and English. The third and fourth pages consist of interest coupons, each worth 250 Kronen/Crowns, which could be redeemed on April and October of each year beginning with Oct. 1922 and running through April 1937. The first 7 coupons (1922-1925) have been removed. Because of extreme inflation, in 1925 the Krone was replaced by the Schilling at the rate of 1,000:1. In Very Good Condition: corner slightly creased; one horizontal crease; lacking 7 coupons, as noted; otherwise, clean and solid. Very Good. Item #007304
