The Philadelphia Textile School was established in 1884 (later Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science). Joseph F. Harold, a graduate of the school, was on the faculty in 1904. Nothing else is known about him. Interleaved with blank leaves for note-taking. Many of the blank leaves have pencilled notes (and stains) relating to the experiments. Also contains several loose pages of notes. A thoroughly used copy of this scarce early 20th-century chemistry book.
