Intended as a sequel to the author's From Bryan to Stalin. William Z. Foster (1881-1961) was an American labor organizer who served as General Secretary of the Communist Party USA from 1945 to 1957. In this book he presents his own life, declaring in the Foreword: "I have tried to picture, as I lived through them, the hopes and illustions, the comedy and tragedy, the exploitation and struggles of an American worker's life." Book is in Very Good Conditon: slightly cocked; fading at head of spine; otherwise, clean and solid.
