1886. On 1 April 1887 Samuel and Mary Cargill mortgaged to Isaac and Joannah Ferguson for $228 a house and 46-acre tract in Greenwood Township, Juniata County, Pa. Signed by Samuel Cargill and Mary J. Cargill; witnesses James S. Cox and Paul T. Cox; and Juniata Co. Recorder of Deeds Edward E. Berry. Recorded 4 Feb. 1889; with the embossed stamped of the Recorder of Deeds. Two documents relating to Isaac Ferguson acting as guardian in 1886 for Jeremiah Cargill of Greenwood Township, Juniata Co.,and for Sallie C. Cargill under the will of Elizabeth Shade. Signed by J. D. Cargill, Sallie C. Cargill, E. B. M. Crum, George Jacobs, Jesse Reed, and Juniata Co. Recorder of Deeds Edward E. Berry, with his embossed stamp. The last document, dated 10 June 1909, declares that Harvey B. Ferguson of Greenwood Township, Juniata Co., owed $1,700 to Isaac Ferguson. Signed by J. N. Keller, G. Frank Bonsum, Harvey B. Ferguson. Isaac Ferguson (1837-1924) married Johanna Mary Cargill (1845-1906) in 1867. Harvey B. Ferguson (1876-1946) was one of their children. In Fine Condition: clean and crisp. Fine. Item #008302
