Fireside Industries was incorporated in 1924. No date of publication, but the art director, Gabriel Andre Petit, who died in 1932, was alive when this was published, based on the first several pages. Fireside Industries membership provided art supplies and courses to people (primarily women) who hoped to make and sell art novelties. The courses covered enameling, furniture and toy decoration, greeting cards, decoration of parchment lamp shades, tinting photographs, picture framing, gesso and polychrome, batik, etching copper and brass, and interior decoration.
