The band leader, Owen Jones Wister Burness (1855-1932), was a choir director and band leader in and around Philadelphia. The ten numbers listed for each of the afternoon and evening performances included only one by Sousa and several by classical composers, including a "Festival" march by Bach (?). In Fair Condition: loss at lower right corner with loss of "10 P.M."; two closed tears of 2 cm. and less from upper edge and one from lower edge; chipping and small tears at lower left corner and along upper edge; lightly soiled and creased.
