The program from a production of The Gondoliers by the Lansdowne Choristers, musical direction by Katharine Yardley Thurber (d. 1954) and stage direction by Joseph P. Galton for the benefit of the Lansdowne Fire Company in the Lansdowne High School on Feb. 14 and 15, 1936. They were accompanied by Dorothy Miller, pianist, and Gabriel de Paul's orchestra. Advertisements for local businesses. The Lansdowne Choristers was formed in 1934 and was still active in 1954. Luiz was sung by James Siegfried who, while serving in the Army during World War Two, frequently appeared on the Napier Field radio programs as a baritone soloist.
