Albert Boyer, Sheriff of Northampton County, Pa., on 10 April 1937 sold for $1,905.87 two contiguous lots on Adams St. in Bethlehem, Pa. (identified as 467 Adams St. on the front), to the Society of the United Brethren for Propagating the Gospel Among the Heathen. This was at the suit of the Society against Cecile M. Rose, Henri Santerre, and Mrs. J. Fahy. Signed by Sheriff E. Albert Boyer, witness A. Thurman Schlabach, and Northampton County Recorder Clement S. Frederick. With the embossed stamp of the Northampton County Recorder. The Society of the United Brethren for Propagating the Gospel Among the Heathen is consistently misspelled here "Propogating." The Moravian Church's organization was incorporated in 1788. In Very Good Condition: light soiling; complete. Very Good. Item #008462
