Horst von der Goltz, born Franz Wachendorf in 1884, worked in the United States with German agent Franz von Papen on the plot to blow up the Welland Canal. After being arrested in London in 1914, he cooperated with the British Naval Intelligence and in 1916 was sent back to the United States, where he testified against other German agents. In Very Good Condition: "ABH" in ink at upper edge of title page; staples are rusting; two horizontal folds; exterior slightly soiled; otherwise, clean and solid. Very Good. Item #008627
