Shepp of Millersburg, Pa., sold to Mary Ellen Seiders of Powell's Valley, Dauphin County, Pa., for $150 a lot on Main St. in Matamoras, Dauphin County. Signed by Luther M. Shepp, witnesses Charles T. Lark and H. L. Lark, Justice of the Peace Joseph I. Corbett with his embossed seal, and Dauphin County Recorder of Deeds Edward Z. Gross with his embossed stamp. Edward Z. Gross (b. 1851) was a pharmacist in Harrisburg before being elected Recorder in 1896. He served until 1904, when he was elected mayor of Harrisburg. In Very Good Condition: lightly soiled; solid.
