All page edges marbled. Green and black marbled endpapers. Bookseller's label on front fixed endpaper of each volume: "H. Kimpton, Medical Bookseller. 82, High Holborn." Unusual former owner's bookplate on each front fixed endpaper consisting of a small cutout of a boar's head? above "Christr. Hunter." Circular embossed stamp at lower edge of each title page of the Presbyterian Hospital Library, Philadelphia.
